[There are varying customs when the dairy meal takes place - most commonly on the first day after Musaf (Ramoh OC 494:3, Mogen Avrohom 494:6, Shulchan Aruch HoRav 494:16). Some make Kiddush and eat milchig mezonos (see Darchei Teshuva YD 89:19), while others wash and make HaMotzi (see Ramoh, Mogen Avrohom), then after saying the relevant brocho acharonah, change tablecloths (Mechaber, YD 89:4, Mogen Avrohom OC 494:6), wait the requisite amount of time as per custom, then wash and eat a Fleishig meal.]
